Across Minnesota, ICE continues to stop, harass, and detain people regardless of their citizenship status. Normal life in Minnesota has been interrupted, as schools have been forced to close or go virtual, as people live in fear of leaving their homes or going to work. Minnesotans are organized and activated to respond to this violence.
But they need our help. (StandwithMN)
is a grassroots volunteer-led organization located in the Bancroft neighborhood of Minneapolis, MN. We work to build solidarity with our neighbors, organize volunteers and redistribute resources to ensure everyone has the means for dignified survival.
5 Calls makes it easy for you to reach your members of Congress and make your voice heard.
We research issues, write scripts that clearly articulate a progressive position, figure out the most influential decision-makers, and collect phone numbers for their offices.
All you have to do is call.
Ice is working country wide, this isn’t isolated to us here in MN. Please watch out for your neighbors. Know your rights and inform friends and family. Create systems to care for one another now to be ready when it begins where you live.
So much love to you all- Elissa
The 100 Day Project is a daily creative practice challenge created by Lindsay Jean Thompson.
My project is 100 days of what if? I started the project while visiting the Southern Washington coast on an artist residency retreat at the Sou’wester Lodge.
Beginning was easy, I knew I wanted to create 2.5×3.5 card sized paintings in the polaroid style. Then I wanted something to write in the bottom area and the What if? came to me after I painted the first in the series.
These 4 were little departures from the original project layout.
#70 & #71 are two days in one painting, experimenting with the what if? question in a longer format with a panorama style. Size is twice one painting: 3.5 × 5 inches
#82 & #95 are also two days in one, which happened by accidentally painting 95 on the back of 82, thinking it was a blank piece of paper. Woops! 2.5×3.5 inches
2.5 × 3.5 inches approximately

Painted with love and care I will do my very best to show you the painting as I see it. There may be changes depending on your screen settings. There are many paintings in this series with sparkling paint which can be difficult to photograph.
