La Boulangerie Marguerite - NE is hosting a juried art show curated around the theme of Nourishment.
Located in the heart of the arts district of Northeast Minneapolis, the bakery and cafe invites visual artists' responses to the question, "What does it mean to nourish and be nourished?" As a French-inspired bakery and cafe owned and operated by artisan bread baker Francois Kiemde and former arts educator Melissa Borgmann-Kiemde, this show brings together passions and interests examining literal and figurative responses to how our hunger is addressed. With award winning seed artist Elizabeth Schreiber as the guest juror, LBM is thrilled at how this northeast artist's medium intersects with literal tools for creative nourishment. This show will open the first weekend in May, before Art-A-Whirl and hang for three months.
